I pulled into a rest stop at about 12 am on monday.  I was feeling asleep, so I decided to stop the car and rest for a while.
I woke up about 2 hours later, and my entire left side was numb, but i was awake.

I started listening to Ulrich Schnauss’s A Strangely Isolated Place.  i tell you what.  at 2 in the morning, with the only people on the road are trucks. Ulrich Schnauss was perfect. Almost surreal.
the only thing that woulda made it more perfect was if there was snow on the ground.  Schnauss is just perfect driving in the snow weather. 
I’ve always felt that way about Orbital too.  they just fit the mood of winter.
